Kirksville Area Technical Center is a public, two-year technical college located in Kirksville, Missouri. It is part of the Kirksville R-III School District. Kirksville Area Technical Center was established in 1968 as the Kirksville Area Vocational-Technical School. It was created in response to the need for more vocational and technical education in the Kirksville area. The school originally offered programs in auto mechanics, business, cosmetology, and welding. Over the years, the school has added new programs and now offers over 20 career and technical programs.

Kirksville Area Technical Center is accredited by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The school is also a member of the Missouri Association of Career and Technical Education.
