The College of Wilmington is a four-year public institution located in Wilmington, North Carolina. The college is a member of the University of North Carolina system and offers bachelor's degrees in over 50 majors and concentrations. The College of Wilmington was founded in 1947 as a two-year junior college. The college became a four-year institution in 1963 and began offering bachelor's degrees in 1967. Today, the college enrolls over 5,000 students from across the United States and around the world.
