Caribbean Forensic and Technical College (CFTC) is an accredited institution located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The college offers a two-year Associate in Science degree in Forensic Science as well as technical certificates in various areas of forensics.
CFTC is the only college in Puerto Rico that is accredited by the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and is a member of the Forensic Education Programs Accreditation Commission. The college is also a member of the International Association for Identification and the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors.
The Forensic Science program at CFTC is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a career in the forensic sciences. The program covers a wide range of topics including crime scene investigation, forensic anthropology, forensic biology, forensic chemistry, forensic psychology, and forensic science.
Upon completion of the program, students will be able to apply for positions in various fields of forensics such as crime scene investigation, forensic anthropology, forensic biology, forensic chemistry, forensic psychology, and forensic science.
