CET-El Paso is a public, four-year university located in El Paso, Texas. It is one of the nine campuses of the Colorado State University System. The university offers bachelor's degrees in business, education, engineering, liberal arts, and sciences, as well as master's degrees in business administration, education, and engineering.

CET-El Paso was founded in 1984 as the El Paso campus of the Colorado State University System. The university originally offered only upper-division and graduate courses. In 1987, the university began offering bachelor's degrees and in 1991, the university became an independent institution within the CSU System.

The university is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award bachelor's and master's degrees.

CET-El Paso is a Hispanic-serving institution. Hispanics make up 79% of the student body. The university is a member of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities.

The university's campus is located on 143 acres in west El Paso. The campus includes eight academic buildings, a library, a student center, a gymnasium, and an outdoor amphitheater.

CET-El Paso offers a variety of student organizations, including fraternities and sororities, academic clubs and organizations, and honor societies. The university also has a student newspaper, the El Paso Times, and a radio station, KTSW-FM.

CET-El Paso is a Division II member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and competes in the Western Athletic Conference. The university offers baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, and track and field.

CET-El Paso has an enrollment of approximately 4,500 students.
