Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MBTS) is a private, evangelical seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. It is the largest seminary in the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) and one of the largest seminaries in the world. MBTS offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees in a variety of theological and ministry-related fields.
Founded in 1957, MBTS has a rich history of training men and women for ministry. The seminary has graduated over 12,000 students, who have gone on to serve in a variety of capacities all over the world. MBTS is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) and is a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
