Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech) is a public institute of higher education in Kirkland, Washington. It is part of the Washington State Community and Technical College System. LWTech offers more than 50 associate degrees, professional certificates, and applied bachelor's degrees in over 40 areas of study, including engineering, business, information technology, health care, design, and manufacturing.
LWTech was founded in 1949 as Lake Washington Vocational School, and became a community college in 1963. The school moved to its current Kirkland campus in 1971. In 2017, the school began offering applied bachelor's degrees in Cybersecurity and Data Analytics.
LWTech is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The school's engineering and manufacturing programs are accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (NABET).
