The College of the Ozarks is a unique and special place. It is a Christian college, founded in 1906, located in the beautiful Ozarks of southwest Missouri. The college is committed to providing a quality education at an affordable price. The college has a unique work program, which allows students to work 15 hours per week in various jobs on campus, in exchange for their tuition. This work program not only helps to keep the cost of tuition down, but it also helps students to learn the value of work and to develop a strong work ethic. The college also has a strong commitment to service, and students are required to complete 40 hours of community service per semester. The college is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
