The University of Minnesota-Crookston (UMC) is a public university in Crookston, Minnesota. It is part of the University of Minnesota system and offers bachelor's degrees in more than 25 areas of study. The university is located on the west side of Crookston, near the Red Lake River. The campus is about an hour's drive from Grand Forks, North Dakota, and two hours from Fargo, North Dakota.

UMC was founded in 1966 as a two-year college. It became a four-year institution in 1979 and began offering bachelor's degrees in 1980. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.

UMC has an enrollment of about 1,800 students, most of whom are from Minnesota. The university offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as online and distance learning options.

The university's athletic teams compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and are known as the Golden Eagles. The men's and women's teams both compete in basketball, cross country, golf, and track and field. The men's team also competes in baseball, while the women's team competes in softball.
