The United States Sports Academy, located in Daphne, Alabama, is an independent, non-profit, accredited, special mission sports university created to serve the nation and world with programs in instruction, research, and service. The role of the Academy is to prepare men and women for careers in the sport industry. The Academy offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees in sport related fields such as sport management, sport coaching, sport psychology, sport sociology, sport physiology, recreation management, and physical education. In addition, the Academy has a strong commitment to international sports and offers a number of programs and services to meet the needs of the global sports community.
