Union University is a private, coeducational, liberal arts university located in Jackson, Tennessee, with additional campuses in Germantown and Hendersonville. It was founded in 1823 by an act of the Tennessee General Assembly and was the first college in West Tennessee. Union University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
