The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) is a comprehensive academic health university in Houston, Texas. The university is part of the University of Texas System. UTHealth consists of six schools: the John P. and Kathrine G. McGovern Medical School, the Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, the School of Dentistry, the School of Public Health, and the School of Nursing.

UTHealth is home to the Texas Medical Center (TMC), the largest medical center in the world. The TMC is a 1,345-acre (5.4 km2) complex of hospitals, clinics, research institutions, and educational facilities. More than 7 million people visit the TMC each year.

UTHealth has more than 3,000 faculty members and more than 21,000 students and trainees. The university offers more than 200 degree and certificate programs.

UTHealth is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award bachelor's, master's, doctoral, and professional degrees.
