The University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) is a public university in Memphis, Tennessee. Founded in 1911, UTHSC is one of the largest health science centers in the United States. The university includes six colleges: Allied Health Sciences, Dentistry, Graduate Health Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy. In addition to the main campus in Memphis, UTHSC has campuses in Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Nashville.
UTHSC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and the Liaison Committee on Medical Education. The university offers more than 280 degree and certificate programs.
