Southern College of Optometry (SCO) is a private optometry school in Memphis, Tennessee. It is one of only 22 schools of optometry in the United States and is accredited by the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education. SCO was founded in 1932 and has an enrollment of over 500 students. The college offers a four-year Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree as well as a two-year Master of Science in Vision Science (MSVS) degree.

The curriculum at SCO emphasizes the clinical aspects of optometry and prepares students for a career in the diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders. The first two years of the OD program are focused on didactic coursework, while the last two years are spent completing clinical rotations. SCO has a state-of-the-art facility that includes a full-service eye clinic, vision rehabilitation center, and on-campus housing.
