Schreiner University is a private university in Kerrville, Texas. It was founded in 1923 by the Rev. Edgar Schreiner as Schreiner Institute, a two-year college. In 1945 it became Schreiner College, a four-year institution, and took its current name in 2001. The university is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA).

The university offers associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. It has an enrollment of about 1,200 students, most of whom are from Texas. The student-to-faculty ratio is 14:1.

Schreiner University's 100-acre (40 ha) campus includes several historic buildings. The university's athletic teams, known as the Mountaineers, compete in the NCAA Division III American Southwest Conference.
