North Greenville University is a private, coeducational, liberal arts university located in Tigerville, South Carolina, United States. The university is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. It was founded in 1892 as Greenville Female College. NGU offers more than 50 undergraduate majors, over 20 graduate programs, and one doctoral program. The university is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award baccalaureate, master's, and doctorate degrees.

In 1892, Greenville Female College was founded by the Greenville Baptist Association. The college was located on what is now the campus of Furman University. In 1933, the college moved to its current location in Tigerville, South Carolina. The college was renamed North Greenville Junior College in 1953 and North Greenville College in 1961. The college became a four-year institution in 1977 and was renamed North Greenville University in 2006.
