Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) is a private, nonprofit four-year and post-graduate college specializing in the visual arts. MCAD is one of just a few art colleges in the United States to offer a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Comics (BFA-C). The college also offers a low-residency Master of Fine Arts in Visual Studies (MFA-VS) program.

Founded in 1886, MCAD is one of the oldest and most respected art colleges in the country. The college’s campus is located in the historic Warehouse District of downtown Minneapolis.
