Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) is a private four-year coeducational university located in Harrogate, Tennessee, United States. LMU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The school was founded in 1897 by Dr. E.C. Gardner as the Lincoln Memorial Hospital and Training School for Nurses. The name was changed to Lincoln Memorial University in 1969. The main campus is located on approximately 200 acres (0.81 km2) in Harrogate, Tennessee. The campus features several historical buildings, including the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum, which houses the world's largest collection of Lincoln memorabilia outside of the White House.

LMU offers over 50 undergraduate majors and 20 graduate programs. The university is divided into five colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business, the College of Education, the College of Nursing, and the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. The DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine is the only medical school in Tennessee that is affiliated with a university. LMU is also home to the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum, which is the world's largest collection of Lincoln memorabilia outside of the White House.

LMU is a member of the NCAA Division II and the South Atlantic Conference (SAC). The university fields teams in men's and women's basketball, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and track and field. The men's and women's basketball teams both compete in the SAC tournament. The men's team has won the tournament four times, most recently in 2019. The women's team has won the tournament three times, most recently in 2018.

The university has an enrollment of approximately 3,500 students, most of whom are from Tennessee. The student-to-faculty ratio is 14-to-1. The average class size is 20 students. LMU offers a variety of student organizations, including fraternities, sororities, and religious groups. The university also offers a variety of intramural sports.
