Admission Requirements
Laredo College is a public community college in Laredo, Texas. The college offers associate's degrees and certificate programs. Admission to the college is open to all students who meet the minimum requirements.
Laredo College has an open admissions policy, meaning that any student who meets the minimum requirements for admission will be accepted into the college. The minimum requirements for admission are as follows:
- Must be a resident of the state of Texas
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must take and pass the TSI Assessment
Once a student has met the minimum requirements for admission, they will need to submit an application for admission. The application can be found on the college's website. Once the application has been submitted, the student will be contacted by the admissions office to schedule an appointment for an interview.
The interview is an opportunity for the admissions office to get to know the student and to answer any questions that the student may have. After the interview, the admissions office will make a decision on whether or not to admit the student. If the student is admitted, they will be given a list of next steps to complete in order to enroll in classes.
