Admission Requirements

The Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture offers a comprehensive education in Taoist principles and practices, as well as in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. The Institute is accredited by the National Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NACOOM) and is a member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM).

The Institute offers a four-year program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Taoist Studies, a two-year Master of Science in Taoist Studies, and a two-year Doctor of Science in Taoist Studies. The Institute also offers a one-year Certificate in Acupuncture and a one-year Certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine.

Admission to the Institute is open to all qualified applicants. There are no specific prerequisites for admission to the Institute, but all applicants must submit an application, transcripts, and a non-refundable application fee.
