The Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture (ITEA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the teaching of Taoist principles and practices, and the promotion of acupuncture and Chinese medicine. ITEA was founded in 1992 by Master Zhenzan Dao, a Taoist priest and acupuncturist, and is based in Boulder, Colorado.

ITEA offers a variety of courses on Taoist philosophy and practice, as well as acupuncture and Chinese medicine. ITEA's acupuncture program is accredited by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and its Chinese medicine program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM).

ITEA's mission is to provide the highest quality Taoist education and acupuncture training, in order to promote the health and well-being of individuals and society.
