Admission Requirements
Iliff School of Theology is a private, non-profit institution of higher learning dedicated to preparing men and women for leadership and service in the church and the world. The school is located in Denver, Colorado, and is affiliated with the United Methodist Church.
The school's admissions process is designed to identify and enroll those students who have the potential to benefit most from the Iliff experience. The admissions process is holistic, and all applications are reviewed in their entirety. The Admissions Committee looks at each applicant's academic record, test scores, essays, letters of recommendation, and other materials to get a sense of the applicant's intellectual ability, motivation, and character.
Iliff School of Theology welcomes applications from students of all backgrounds, and the Admissions Committee is committed to enrolling a diverse student body. The school offers a number of need-based and merit-based scholarships, and all applicants are automatically considered for scholarships when they apply for admission.
To be eligible for admission, applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Applicants are also required to submit official transcripts, a personal essay, a resume, and two letters of recommendation. International applicants must also submit official TOEFL or IELTS scores.
Iliff School of Theology is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. The school's programs are also approved by the University Senate of the United Methodist Church.
