Amridge University is a private, coeducational university located in Montgomery, Alabama, United States. The university is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, baccalaureate, and master's degrees. Amridge University was founded in 1967 as Alabama Christian College, a two-year institution, by the Alabama Christian Education Association. In 1974, the college became a four-year institution and was renamed Amridge University in 2004. The university's mission is "to prepare students for responsible Christian living and effective leadership in a global society through excellence in teaching, personal attention, and spiritual formation."
