American InterContinental University-Houston (AIU-Houston) is a for-profit university located in Houston, Texas. It is a subsidiary of Career Education Corporation. AIU-Houston was founded in 1970 as the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. In 2001, the school was renamed American InterContinental University and began offering bachelor's and master's degrees in business, technology, and design.
