Heritage Christian University is a private, non-profit university located in Florence, Kentucky, United States. The university is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. The university's mission is "to provide biblically based higher education in a Christ-centered environment for the development of Christian leaders."

The university was founded in 1972 as Heritage Bible College by Dr. J.C. Bailey and a group of like-minded individuals. The college was established with the goal of training men and women for ministry and Christian leadership. In its early years, the college offered only a two-year program. In 1980, the college was accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and began offering a four-year program leading to a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Ministry. In 1982, the college's name was changed to Heritage Bible College and Graduate School. In 1988, the graduate school was established, offering Master of Arts and Master of Divinity degrees. In 2001, the college's name was changed to Heritage Bible College and Theological Seminary. In 2009, the seminary was spun off as a separate institution, and the college was renamed Heritage Christian University.

The university offers a variety of programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Undergraduate programs include Bible and Ministry, Business Administration, Education, Liberal Arts, and Nursing. Graduate programs include Bible and Ministry, Business Administration, Education, and Nursing.

The university offers a variety of opportunities for students to get involved in campus life and ministry, including intramural sports, student organizations, and service projects.
