Founded in 1898, Dallas Baptist University is a private Christian university located in Dallas, Texas. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as online and distance learning opportunities. Dallas Baptist University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

The university offers more than 70 undergraduate majors and minors, as well as over 50 graduate programs. Undergraduate programs are offered in the areas of business, education, fine arts and communication, humanities and social sciences, natural sciences and mathematics, and nursing and health professions. Graduate programs are offered in the areas of business, counseling, education, ministry, and nursing.

Dallas Baptist University’s online and distance learning programs include online bachelor’s degrees, online master’s degrees, and online doctoral degrees. Online programs are offered in the areas of business, education, counseling, ministry, and nursing.

The university’s campus is located on 300 acres in southwest Dallas. Dallas Baptist University’s main campus includes 11 academic and administrative buildings, as well as a library, a student center, a recreation center, and a chapel. The university also operates a satellite campus in Plano, Texas.

Dallas Baptist University’s student body consists of approximately 5,000 students from all 50 states and more than 50 countries. The university’s faculty consists of more than 400 full-time and part-time faculty members.

The university’s athletic teams, known as the Patriots, compete in the NCAA Division I. Dallas Baptist University’s men’s sports teams include baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, and tennis. The university’s women’s sports teams include basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball.
