William Peace University is a small, private, coeducational university located in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. The university was founded in 1857 as Peace Institute, a women's college. In 2012, the university changed its name to William Peace University. The university offers bachelor's degrees in business, education, and liberal arts, and master's degrees in business administration and teaching. The university is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
