Wartburg Theological Seminary is a seminary of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, located in Dubuque, Iowa. The seminary was founded in 1854 by German immigrant pastors and is one of the oldest Lutheran seminaries in the United States. It is named after Wartburg Castle in Germany, where Martin Luther spent time in hiding, translating the Bible into German.

The seminary offers a variety of degree programs, including a Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Religion, and Doctor of Ministry. It also offers several non-degree programs, such as a Certificate in Lutheran Studies and a Diploma in Anglican Studies.

Wartburg Theological Seminary is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. It is also a member of the Lutheran Educational Conference of North America.

The seminary's campus is located on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. The campus includes several historic buildings, including Old Main, which was built in 1854 and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
