The University of Wisconsin-Stout is a public university located in Menomonie, Wisconsin. The school was founded in 1891 as a normal school to prepare teachers for the growing number of schools in the state. The school became a four-year college in 1951 and began offering graduate degrees in 1969. The university now offers over 50 undergraduate majors and 15 graduate programs.
