The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma is a public liberal arts college in Chickasha, Oklahoma. It is the state's only public liberal arts college and one of only two public colleges in Oklahoma with a residential campus. The school offers bachelor's degrees in the liberal arts and sciences, as well as a master's degree in liberal studies. The school is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The school was founded in 1908 as the Oklahoma College for Women and became co-educational in 1965. The school's name was changed to the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in 1974. The school has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students.
