The University of Northwestern Ohio is a private, non-profit university located in Lima, Ohio. It was founded in 1920 as Lima Technical Institute, and later became a four-year university in 1986. UNOH offers over 130 undergraduate and graduate programs in business, engineering, health sciences, and applied technologies. The university has an enrollment of over 4,000 students, and its campus covers 200 acres. UNOH is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The university is also a member of the Ohio Board of Regents and the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Ohio.
