The University of Central Florida, located in Orlando, Florida, is the largest university in the United States by undergraduate enrollment, with over 60,000 students. The university is also home to the second-largest campus by enrollment in the state of Florida, with over 280,000 students. Founded in 1963, UCF is the third-oldest university in the state. The university is a member of the State University System of Florida and is classified as a Research University (high research activity) by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.
