Founded in 1880, Universidad del Sagrado Corazón is a private Catholic university located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The university is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. It is the oldest Catholic university in Puerto Rico and the only one founded by a woman. The university offers bachelor's and master's degrees in a variety of fields, including business, education, nursing, and social work. The Sagrado Corazón School of Law is the only law school in Puerto Rico accredited by the American Bar Association. The university has a student body of over 5,000 students, and its campus is located in the historic neighborhood of Old San Juan.
