The University of the Arts (UArts) is a private university in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is one of the nation's oldest and largest institutions for the arts, offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in a variety of disciplines.

Founded in 1876 as the Philadelphia College of the Arts, UArts has a long history of educating some of the world's most celebrated artists, performers, and creative professionals. Today, the university's 2,800 students are enrolled in more than 60 undergraduate and graduate programs in six schools: the School of Art, the School of Design, the School of Film and Media Arts, the School of Music, the School of Theater, and the Ira Brind School of Theater Arts.
