Founded in 1899, South University is a private, accredited institution with 11 locations across the United States, including the Tampa campus. The university offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs in business, health care, nursing, and pharmacy, as well as a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program.

The Tampa campus is located in the heart of the city, just minutes from the Tampa International Airport. The campus is also close to a variety of health care facilities, including Tampa General Hospital, Moffitt Cancer Center, and the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital.
