Schiller International University (SIU) is a private, for-profit, American university with its main campus in Heidelberg, Germany and additional campuses in France, Spain, and the United States. SIU is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award bachelor's and master's degrees. The university is named after German poet and dramatist Friedrich Schiller.

SIU was founded in 1964 by Dr. Walter Leibrecht, a German-born academic and entrepreneur. Dr. Leibrecht's vision was to create an international university that would promote understanding and cooperation among people of different cultures.

Today, SIU offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs in business, economics, international relations, and liberal arts. The university has a student body of over 1,500 students from more than 80 countries.

SIU's Heidelberg campus is located in the historic city center, near the banks of the Neckar River. The campus features several historic buildings, including a 16th-century castle. The Heidelberg campus is also home to the university's library, which houses over 200,000 volumes.

SIU's other campuses are located in Madrid, Spain; Paris, France; and Tampa, Florida, USA. The university also has a study abroad program which offers students the opportunity to study at one of SIU's campuses in another country.
