Rollins College is a private liberal arts college located in Winter Park, Florida. The college is one of the oldest continuously operating colleges in the United States, having been founded in 1885. Rollins is a member of the Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA) and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Rollins College was founded by New England Congregationalists who sought to establish a college in the American South that would be free of the strict moral and religious codes of the region's colleges.
