Founded in 1855 as Pennsylvania’s only land-grant university, Pennsylvania State University is a public research university with 24 campuses across the state. The World Campus, founded in 1998, is the University’s online campus, serving adult learners around the globe.

The World Campus offers more than 125 undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs in a variety of fields, including business, education, engineering, health care, information sciences, liberal arts, and more. Students can choose from a variety of flexible learning options, including online courses, hybrid courses, and degree programs that can be completed entirely online.

The World Campus is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, and its programs are recognized by many of the nation’s leading organizations, including the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security.
