Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Shenango is a public university located in Sharon, Pennsylvania. It is a part of the Pennsylvania State University System, and offers associate's and bachelor's degrees. The campus is located on a 100-acre (40.5 ha) site in Shenango Township, and includes a 100,000-square-foot (9,300 m2) building that houses classrooms, laboratories, offices, a library, and a bookstore. The campus is home to approximately 1,000 students, and employs over 100 faculty and staff members. The university is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

Penn State Shenango offers a variety of academic programs, including business, communications, education, engineering, English, liberal arts, science, and nursing. The campus is home to a number of student organizations, including the Student Government Association, the Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the Shenango Valley Alumni Association. The university also offers a variety of athletics programs, including basketball, cross country, golf, and soccer.

Penn State Shenango was founded in 1966 as the Shenango Valley campus of the Pennsylvania State University. The campus was originally located on a 10-acre (4.0 ha) site in Sharon, Pennsylvania. In its early years, the campus offered a variety of two-year programs, and served as a center for community and economic development in the Shenango Valley. In the 1970s, the campus began to offer four-year programs, and in 1984, the campus was renamed Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Shenango. The campus has undergone a number of expansions and renovations in its history, and currently enrolls over 1,000 students.
