Pennsylvania State University-Penn State DuBois is a public university located in DuBois, Pennsylvania. Penn State DuBois was founded in 1873 as the DuBois Business College. It became a part of the Pennsylvania State University System in 1951 and was renamed Pennsylvania State University-DuBois Campus. The campus offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs through its four academic colleges: Business, Education, Health and Human Services, and Liberal Arts.
The Business College offers associate and bachelor's degrees in business-related fields such as accounting, management, and marketing. The Education College offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in education, including teacher certification programs. The Health and Human Services College offers associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees in fields such as nursing, social work, and human development. The Liberal Arts College offers associate and bachelor's degrees in liberal arts disciplines such as English, history, and psychology.
Penn State DuBois is home to a variety of student organizations, including fraternities and sororities, academic clubs and organizations, and sports clubs. The campus also offers a variety of intramural sports. Penn State DuBois athletics teams compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III. The campus is also home to a variety of cultural and recreational facilities, including a performing arts center, a fitness center, and an outdoor swimming pool.
