Ohio University-Chillicothe Campus is a public university located in Chillicothe, Ohio. It is one of the five campuses of Ohio University and is part of the Ohio University System. The campus offers associate's and bachelor's degrees in a variety of fields, as well as a master's degree in education. The campus is home to approximately 1,500 students and employs over 200 faculty and staff members. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
Ohio University-Chillicothe Campus was founded in 1946 as a branch campus of Ohio University. The campus was originally located in the city of Chillicothe, but was moved to its current location on the outskirts of the city in the early 1950s. The campus has undergone several expansions and renovations over the years, most recently in the early 2000s. The campus offers a variety of academic programs, as well as a variety of student organizations and activities. The campus is also home to a number of athletic teams, which compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
