Nebraska Wesleyan University is a private university in Lincoln, Nebraska. Founded in 1887 by Nebraska Methodists, it is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Nebraska Wesleyan offers more than 60 undergraduate majors and programs, 19 graduate programs, and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.

Nebraska Wesleyan University was founded in 1887 as a college for women. The school was originally located in downtown Lincoln, Nebraska and was known as the Nebraska Wesleyan University Conservatory of Music. In 1901, the college moved to its current location on the city's west side and began offering a four-year liberal arts curriculum. In 1909, the school became coeducational and began offering graduate programs.

Today, Nebraska Wesleyan University is a comprehensive university offering more than 60 undergraduate majors and programs, 19 graduate programs, and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Nebraska Wesleyan is also a member of the Nebraska Independent College Foundation and the Council of Independent Colleges.

The university's campus is located on 84 acres (34 hectares) of land in Lincoln's University Place neighborhood. The campus includes 28 buildings, including the Olin Science Hall, the Ross J. Traphagen Library, and the Woolworth Commons Student Center.

Nebraska Wesleyan University's academic programs are organized into four divisions: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business, the College of Education, and the College of Pharmacy. The university also offers a variety of pre-professional programs, including pre-law, pre-medicine, and pre-dentistry.

Nebraska Wesleyan University's student body consists of approximately 1,900 undergraduate students and 400 graduate students from more than 30 states and 40 countries. The university's faculty includes more than 200 full-time and part-time faculty members.

Nebraska Wesleyan University is committed to providing a liberal arts education that is grounded in the Judeo-Christian tradition and that prepares students for lives of service and leadership. The university offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including more than 60 student organizations, intramural sports, and a variety of performing arts groups. Nebraska Wesleyan University is also home to a chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
