Misericordia University is a private Catholic university in Dallas, Pennsylvania. The school was founded in 1924 by the Sisters of Mercy as a women's college. It became a coeducational institution in 1969 and began offering graduate programs in 1974. Today, the university enrolls over 2,200 students in more than 60 undergraduate and graduate programs. The university is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
