Lake-Sumter State College (LSSC) is a public state college in Lake County, Florida. The college is part of the Florida College System and offers two-year associate's degrees. LSSC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The college has its main campus in Leesburg and a south Lake campus in Clermont.

LSSC was established in 1962 as Lake County Junior College. The college was renamed Lake-Sumter Community College in 1975 and became a state college in 2001. LSSC offers over 50 degree and certificate programs. The college also has a cooperative agreement with the University of Central Florida which allows students to complete their first two years of study at LSSC before transferring to UCF to complete their bachelor's degrees.

LSSC is a member of the Florida Consortium of Metropolitan Research Universities and the League of Innovation in the Community College. The college is governed by a five-member board of trustees appointed by the Governor of Florida. The college president is Dr. Charles Mojock.

LSSC is committed to providing accessible and affordable education to the residents of Lake and Sumter counties. The college provides a variety of services to its students, including tutoring, advising, and career counseling. LSSC also offers a variety of student clubs and organizations, as well as intramural sports.

LSSC is located in the heart of Florida's "Nature Coast," and the college's main campus is situated on the shores of Lake Harris. The college's south Lake campus is located in the city of Clermont, which is home to the world's largest water ski tournament. LSSC is convenient to a variety of recreational activities, including boating, fishing, hiking, and camping.
