Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe College (LCOO) is a public two-year tribal college located on the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe reservation in northwestern Wisconsin. The college was founded in 1984 under the direction of the tribe's then-chairman, Norman DesJarlait, and its first president, Gerald Vizenor. The college's mission is to provide higher education opportunities to the Ojibwe people and to promote the preservation and revitalization of the Ojibwe language and culture.

LCOO offers associate's degrees in a variety of fields, including American Indian Studies, business, education, and health sciences. The college also offers a number of certificate programs. LCOO is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the American Indian Higher Education Consortium.

Since its founding, LCOO has faced a number of challenges, including a lack of funding, enrollment fluctuations, and turnover in leadership. However, the college has also experienced significant growth and success, including the construction of a new campus in Hayward, Wisconsin, and the establishment of a number of partnerships with other colleges and universities.

LCOO is an important institution for the Ojibwe people and has made significant contributions to the preservation and revitalization of the Ojibwe language and culture. The college continues to face challenges, but its commitment to its students and its community ensures that it will continue to be a vital part of the Ojibwe people's future.
