Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) is a large, public university located in the small city of Indiana, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1875 as Indiana Normal School, IUP has a long history of providing excellent education to its students. Today, IUP offers over 140 undergraduate and graduate programs to its more than 16,000 students. IUP is a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) and is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

IUP’s beautiful, park-like campus is located just a short drive from Pittsburgh, making it easy for students to take advantage of all the city has to offer. The campus is also home to a variety of amenities, including a recreation center, library, and several dining options.

IUP’s academic programs are divided into six colleges: the College of Fine Arts, the Eberly College of Business and Economics, the College of Education and Human Services, the College of Health and Human Services, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Within each college, students can choose from a variety of majors and minors to customize their degree.
