Admission Requirements

Huertas College is a two-year college located in New York City. The college is part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system.

Admission to Huertas College is open to all students who have graduated from high school or have earned a GED. There are no minimum GPA or test score requirements for admission.

Students who wish to apply to Huertas College must submit an online application. The application includes a personal essay and a $65 non-refundable application fee.

Once the application has been submitted, students will be contacted by the admissions office to schedule an interview. The interview is an opportunity for the admissions staff to get to know the applicant and to answer any questions the applicant may have about the college.

After the interview, the admissions office will review the applicant's file and make a decision. Applicants will be notified of the admissions decision via mail.

Students who are admitted to Huertas College will need to submit a $200 enrollment deposit to secure their spot in the incoming class. The enrollment deposit is non-refundable and will be applied towards the student's tuition and fees.
