In 1986, the Herzing Institute was founded, and in 1987, the Herzing College of Business was established. In 1996, the Herzing College of Healthcare was established. In 2001, the Herzing Institute and the Herzing College of Business merged to form Herzing University. In 2007, the Herzing College of Technology was established.
