George Fox University is a private, non-profit, Christian university located in Newberg, Oregon, United States. The university was founded in 1885 by George Fox, a Quaker pioneer and evangelist. George Fox University is the only university in the world founded by a Quaker. The university is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges and offers bachelor's degrees in more than 40 majors and programs, master's degrees in business, counseling, education, and theology, and doctorates in physical therapy and psychology. The university has an enrollment of more than 3,000 students. The university is a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
