The Florida College of Integrative Medicine (FCIM) is a unique educational institution that offers a four-year medical program with an emphasis on integrative medicine. FCIM is the only accredited institution in the United States that offers this type of program.

Integrative medicine is a branch of medicine that takes a holistic approach to health and healing. It focuses on the mind, body, and spirit, and on the interconnectedness of all three. FCIM’s curriculum is designed to prepare students for a career in integrative medicine.

The first two years of the program are spent completing the basic sciences, such as anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry. In the third and fourth years, students take courses in clinical medicine, such as internal medicine, pediatrics, and obstetrics/gynecology. In addition, they take courses in integrative medicine, such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, and nutrition.

FCIM graduates are prepared to enter the workforce as primary care physicians, specialists, or researchers. They are also prepared to continue their education and training in integrative medicine.
