Delaware Valley University (DVU) is a private university in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. It was founded in 1896 as Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture, and became a university in 2007. The university offers bachelor's and master's degrees in a variety of disciplines, and is organized into four colleges: the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture, the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business, and the School of Nursing and Health Sciences.

DVU is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The university's athletic teams compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III and the MAC Commonwealth Conference.

Delaware Valley University was founded in 1896 as Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture by Dr. Joseph Krauskopf, a Jewish immigrant from Czechoslovakia. The college was originally located on his farm in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. In 1907, the college was accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

The college expanded its programs in the 1920s, and began offering bachelor's degrees in a variety of disciplines. In the 1940s, the college added a master's degree program in education. In 1945, the college was purchased by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In the 1950s, the college added programs in business and nursing.

In 2007, the college was renamed Delaware Valley University, and became a university with the addition of graduate programs in a variety of disciplines. The university now offers bachelor's and master's degrees in a variety of disciplines, and is organized into four colleges: the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture, the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business, and the School of Nursing and Health Sciences.
