Clarion University of Pennsylvania is a public university located in Clarion, Pennsylvania. It is one of fourteen schools that comprise the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE). The university offers associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees in more than 60 majors and concentrations, and doctoral degrees in physical therapy and educational leadership.

Clarion University was founded in 1867 as Clarion Normal School, a teacher-training institution. The school was renamed Clarion State Teachers College in 1929 and Clarion State College in 1960. The school became a university in 1984 and was renamed Clarion University of Pennsylvania.

The university's main campus is located on 104 acres (42 ha) of land in Clarion, Pennsylvania. The campus includes several academic and administrative buildings, a library, a student center, a gymnasium, and a stadium. The university also has a branch campus in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Clarion University of Pennsylvania is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The university's teacher education programs are accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The university's physical therapy program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.

Clarion University of Pennsylvania is a member of the Association of Pennsylvania State Colleges and Universities (APSCU) and the Pennsylvania Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU). The university is also a member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) and the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
